Do you want to know how an EV Powertrain works?

Between Scalar Performance and Hypercraft, we've pushed the boundaries of electric power. Our projects span the gamut from the first all-electric touring race car to a formidable rock crawler that made its mark in the King of Hammers, alongside pioneering efforts in watercraft and heavy-duty pickups. Now, we’re sharing what we’ve learned and offering you a unique view into the makings of these groundbreaking vehicles.

Course Highlights Include:

  • Anatomy of an EV System: Delve into the core components that power EVs.
  • Batteries and Charging: From cell chemistry to charging infrastructure.
  • Software and Calibration: Explore how software integrates with hardware and what performance tuning means in this new world.
  • Drive Configuration Options: Learn about the different setups that define vehicle behavior.
  • Safety and Handling: Not anxious to zap yourself? Learn how to safely work on these high power systems.
  • Integration into Existing Vehicles: Certainly we'll talk about how to rejuvenate classic models with an EV swap but we'll also talk about integration into modern automotive networks.
