To keep us warm throughout these long winter months, RCLUB is bringing back the Fireside Chat series. These small-group talks will cover topics near and dear to every gear-head's heart.
Sasha Anis is legend in the tuner community, known well within Toronto and expanding his reach across North America. He started off tuning Nissan 240SXs in a home garage for drifting, expanding that into a small tuning shop called Sequence Garage. Shortly after, he rebranded as SG-Motorsports and made the move across to sports car racing. Sasha started first with a very quick S14 240SX that was previously his road car, and then moving into pro-level racing with a Nissan 350Z.
Sasha continued to evolve his tuning businesses by starting up OnPoint Dyno, a mobile dyno tuning service, and Mountain Pass Performance which focused on tuning Teslas and other electric vehicles. Sasha then applied his rapidly expanding EV knowledge to tuning his 350Z race car into a custom hybrid track weapon, which is now capable of lap times in the 1:16s at CTMP. As a driver, Sasha has won two Canadian Touring Car Championships and ran in several IMSA Challenge and Grand Am Cup races.
