Ever wanted to drive on North America's fastest racing circuit? Or open up your car in a safe, legal environment? Want to develop your driving skills even further to make you a safer driver on the road and a quicker driver on the track?
Join us at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's Grand Prix track! The CTMP GP circuit is a high-speed, flowing course that rewards smooth inputs and good vision technique. Lead Coach Malcolm Strachan will be supervising the day and helping drivers refine their skills.
This is not a competition or a race. This event is purely to enjoy the feeling of opening up a car on a track in a safe manner. As such, safety is paramount, and we have rules in place for passing and warning flags to ensure everyone stays safe and can drive their cars home at the end of the day.
Agenda
- Three run groups, alternating every 20 mins
- 8:00 - 9:00: Registration, waivers, and continental breakfast
- 8:15 - 8:45: 30 min. classroom for Novices Mandatory for all drivers with less than 3 days of track experience or who haven't driven on the GP track
- 8:45 - 9:00: Mandatory Driver’s Meeting in the Event Centre for all participants
- *If you miss the driver's meeting, you will need to see the Lead Coach for approval before being allowed on track
- 9:00 - 12:00: Group 1 - 20 min/Group 2 - 20 min/Group 3 - 20 min
- 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch (track closed)
- 13:00 - 16:30: Group 1 - 20 min/Group 2 - 20 min/Group 3 - 20 min
Costs
All options include Continental breakfast (whole fruit and pastries), a simple and delicious Thai lunch, and all-day beverages.
RCLUB Member Driver Costs
Coaching is included for RCLUB Members with less than 3 days of track experience or those who have not driven on the GP as of the date of this track day. Optional performance coaching is available for RCLUB Members with 3+ days of track experience for $300 + HST if they prefer extra support.

Guest Driver Costs
Guest Drivers must be invited by an RCLUB Member.
Coaching is NOT covered for Guest Drivers. They must have 3+ days of track experience and must have driven on the DDT circuit OR they can pay the guest driver rate as defined below and add a coach for $300 + HST.

Spectator/Ride-Along Costs
If you're curious about RCLUB's private track day experience but aren't yet ready to get behind the wheel, get yourself a ride-along ticket! You can ride right seat with some of our experienced track drivers in a variety of vehicles. If you'd rather watch from the sidelines, that's OK too! Spectator tickets are for you!
Equipment
Helmets are mandatory for all drivers and ride-along passengers. Helmets need to be at least DOT approved, and preferably Snell approved (SA or M are both acceptable for track days). Open or closed face are both acceptable.
Cancellation Policy
RCLUB Track Passes (all four track days) are non-refundable. Refunds for all other ticket types are available until Aug. 26 at 5:00pm (30 days before event). From Aug. 26 onwards, refunds will only be available if we can fill your spot from the waiting list. The same policy applies to any coaching sessions booked.
Deadlines
Drivers who require coaching must register by August 31 at 5:00pm. After this time, coaches are subject to availability.
NEW! Radical SR3 Arrive and Drive Experience
We've teamed up with RySpec Racing to offer two Radical SR3 arrive and drive spots at each of our 2024 track days.
Cost: $3,500 + HST for the Radical arrive and drive experience and $5,000 crash deposit. *RCLUB track day admission is additional.
50/50 Split Cost Option: Two drivers may opt to split wheel time 50/50 on a car. Each driver would pay $2,000 + HST for approx. 1 hr and 45 mins of wheel time. Drivers could also opt to split the $5,000 crash deposit. *RCLUB track day admission is additional. *Note: Max. two drivers to split wheel time.
Half-Day Option: Not sure about a full day behind the wheel? Book a half day at $2,000 + HST and a $5,000 crash deposit for approx. 1 hr and 45 mins of wheel time. *RCLUB track day admission is additional.
Equipment Required: Participants must bring their own SFI rated race suit, gloves, socks and shoes. Racequip gear is the lowest cost option if you do not have this and is available on Amazon. A Snell SA2015 or newer closed face helmet with visor is also required.
Experience Required: A Radical SR3 is a safe but serious race car. Previous track day experience is a definite plus and manual transmission experience is required.

- Total of 3.5 hours of track time, split into 30 min run groups
- Championship winning prep on your Radical SR3
- Transport to and from the race track for your Radical SR3
- One dedicated race car technician for your car
- One coach per car and constant coaching for every single driver
- Safe but fast setup on all cars
- Driver manual and guides sent before the event
